Asante Kotoko has already confirmed the signing of defensive midfielder Micheal Dwamena Kyei from WAFA after completing his mandatory medical examination on Saturday 2nd September 2023.
The 23-year-old, who has earned a reputation as one of the best in his position in the domestic league, penned a three-year deal and followed Andrews Ntim as the two central midfield signing of the current transfer window.
The former WAFA skipper’s journey started from WA Suntaa, before spending three seasons at the Sogakope Arena, making 26 appearances for the division one side as well as recording his name on the assists chart, four times during last season.
Dwamena is noted for combining an excellent reading of the game, breaking up opponents’ attacks, and also an impressive distribution of passes.
