Hearts of Oak humbled Medeama SC by 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon during Week 8 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra sports stadium.
Striker Hamza Issah netted twice in the first half as Hearts of Oak took a strong 3-1 lead. The Phobians thus recorded their biggest win of the current league campaign.
The talented footballer had stomach cramps during the game and Koopman says that is why he replaced him.
“It was a pity that Hamza was sick at half time. So He had a lot of problems problems with his stomach . I asked where is Hamza , they say he is in the toilet and so I must change him. But you see the qualities of Hamza , yes something from Romario , low on the ground , turn very fast , yeah I like him very much. It is a pity that he must be changed but all the other ones did a very good job ” , Martin Koopman said after the game.
