Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew was sent off on his debut for Nantes in French Ligue 1 on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
Ayew was subbed on in the 65th minute when he replaced Loïc Négo at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
Two minutes after entering the field, the former Olympique Marseille man was given his marching orders after a reckless challenge on Eray Comert.
The game was his first appearance in club football since May 2023, when he came on as a substitute for Nottingham Forest in their 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.
The match was his first Ligue 1 fixture since departing Marseille for Swansea in 2019.
He joined Le Harve on a free transfer in November and is now set to miss two games in a row after his booking.
Andre Ayew would make his return in Harve’s home game against OGC Nice on December 16, 2023.
