USA legendary goalkeeper, Tim Howard, believes Blacks Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus was the missing piece in David Moyes’s system.
Speaking on USA broadcast channel NBC, he said Kudus ticks the boxes of a typical Moyes player.
He noted that the Scottish manager may be happy having Kudus in his squad because the Ghanaian complete the puzzle. “I can tell you that David Moyes is smiling and kicking his feet and saying, ‘no that’s my center piece, that’s my missing piece because I brought in Ward-Prowse and he’s been fantastic,” he told NBC.“You know he loves Bowen.
Paqueta, special player. David Moyes hasn’t had thousands of success with number 9s. His best players have always been wingers or midfielders who get into the box late.”Howard’s assertion was in reaction to Mohammed Kudus’ brace in West Ham United’s 3-0 win over Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Following the double against Wolves, Kudus have taken his tally to five goals in eight Premier League starts, and 9 in 15 starts across all competitions.
