Asante Kotoko reportedly paid a whopping sum of over GHC 20,000 to four players who have been sidelined.
According to Oyerepa FM, the said players include Rashid Nortey, Solomon Safo Taylor, Ernest Osei Poku, and Clinton Opoku.
The report indicates that Rashid Nortey receives GHC 6,000, Solomon Sarfo Taylor receives GHC 8,000, Ernest Osei Poku receives GHC 3,500
while Clinton Opoku, who is the lowest earner, receives GHC 3,000.
The aforementioned figures sim to a combined GHC 20, 500, paid by the club to the players every month.
The players who are still under contract have been sidelined because they are not in the plans of head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
They have been restricted from training with the team and thus do not make matchday squad.
