Hearts of Oak interim manager Abdul Rahim Bashiru has labeled the club’s poor form as unfortunate.
According to the manager, the team main problem has been goal scoring, which has cost them in recent games.
Speaking after the goalless draw against Great Olympics, he said the team was unlucky to miss their chances.
“It’s rather unfortunate, and we are unlucky because in the first half, we had some decent chances about three for us to take the lead. We created chances, but to put the ball inside the net that’s the problem,” Bashiru said after the game.
Hearts of Oak are winless in their last five League games, drawing two and losing three.
They sit 10th on the table with 18 points after 16 games.
The Phobians will host Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, December 29, on matchday 17.
