Namibia to pitch camping in Ghana ahead of 2023 AFCON – Reports

Namibia are said to pitch camping in Ghana in preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

According to renowned sports journalist Saddick Adams, Namibia has chosen Ghana sue to the wheather similarities between Ghana and Ivory Cost.

“Namibia National Team have decided to camp in Ghana, tentatively Western Region, before they fly to Ivory Coast for the AFCON,” he wrote on X formerly Twitter.

Namibia are in Group E for the AFCON alongside Tunisia, South Africa, and Mail.

They will begin their campaign against Tunisia before facing South Africa and Mali in subsequent group games.

The tournament kicks off on January 7, 2024.
