President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo-Addo has wished the Black Stars well in the 2023 African Cup of Nations to be staged in Ivory Coast.
The President dined with the players and technical team on Tuesday night at the base of the Black Stars.
In attendance at the colorful ceremony was the Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif and Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Mensah. President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku together with Vice President, Mark Addo also attended.
Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy performed on the night while Afua Asantewaa Aduonum also performed.
President Akuffo-Addo encouraged to the players to give their best and believe that they can bring the trophy home.
The Black Stars will fly to Ivory Coast today and will play their first game against Cape Verde on Sunday. They will later play against Egypt and Mozambique.
