Hearts of Oak supporters chairman Elvis Hesse Herman has clarified that he did not back the Ghana Football Association over the ‘Save Ghana Football’ demonstration.
He explained that he would rather have opined that fixing Ghana football should be a shared responsibility amongst all Ghanaians and only the GFA president, Kurt Okraku.
“I don’t think I insulted anybody with what I said. I never said Kurt Okraku has made Ghana football the best in the world. I didn’t say the things I’m hearing.
“I said we should share responsibilities. If Ghana football fails, it’s not only Kurt who has to take responsibility but all of us because we are all Ghanaians. The national teams belong to Ghanaians.”
Hesse Herman’s clarification comes from a backlash he has received from his earlier comments.
