Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Nartey Ogum has named a strong lineup for their 2024 President’s Cup tie against Asec Mimosas at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Richamond Lamptey who missed the club’s 1-0 win over Gold Stars will make his return to the starting line alongside talisman Steven Mukwala and youngster Rocky Dwamena.
The game is set at 4 PM kickoff time as there will be no gate fees charged for the fixture.
Asante Kotoko has lost the last two editions to Hearts of Oak and hopes to win it this time as they host the game on their favourite ground. The last time the Reds won the trophy dates back to 2019.
Kotoko is the most successful club since the inception of the Cup game, winning it 8 times. Hearts of Oak have won it 6 times.
