Accra Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has confirmed his starting XI to battle with the league leaders, FC Samartex, in the Ghana Premier League matchday 23 fixture.
The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League is approaching its interesting and difficult stage. The Phobians have traveled to Samreboi to engage with FC Samartex this afternoon at the Nsenkyire sports complex. The rest of the week 23 matches will take place on Sunday and finish on Monday.
Aboubakar Ouattara made two changes in his last fixture, which ended 2-1 in favour of the Phobians. The club’s top scorer, Hamzah Issah, has taken his scoring boots to lead the front for the Rainbows alongside Kasim Cisse.
The coach packed the defense with four strong players, Kofi Agbesimah, Thomas Winimi, Amankwah Baafi, and Liventius Attur.
The midfielders include Glid Otanga, Salifu Ibrahim, Salim Adams, and Linda Mtange.
Hearts of Oak are unbeaten in the league since Matchday 15 and will aim to continue their impressive against the leaders. The Phobians are unbeaten in their last 5 league games under their new Ivorian head Coach Aboubakar Ouattara having amassed 32 points after Matchday 22.
