Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe has implied that he deserves his reappointment on the new board of Accra Hearts of Oak.
Despite some supporters’ qualms regarding his appointment, he underlined his experience and how long he has served the club, indicating that he knows the club more than any of the new members.
He acknowledged the fans’ concerns but emphasised that clubs are run by either administrators, management or a board.
“I’ve been with Hearts of Oak for over 50 years. There’s nobody on the board who has experience and knows the club better than I know.
“Supporters have the right to express their views. Supporters don’t run clubs alone. All the clubs in the world are run by administrators and management or the board,” he told ghanasportspage.com.
Hearts of Oak unveiled a new board member following an announcement on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe alongside Togbe Afedi XIV, Vincent Odotei Sowah, and Ivy Heward-Mills were the three figures who maintained their position from the previous administration, which was dissolved.
The other members include Delali Anku-Adiamah, Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom, Akwasi Agyeman, and Professor Agyemang Badu Akosa.
