Communications Director for FC Samartex, Kwasi Abronomaa has taken a dig at Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak, claiming none of their players can be compared to Evans Osei-Wusu, Emmanuel Keyekeh, and Baba Amando.
The Spokesperson for the Timber Giants believes they have assembled the better side over the two most successful clubs in the Ghana Premier League.
“There are good players at Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, and Dreams FC but none of them can be compared to Evans Osei-Wusu, Emmanuel Keyekeh or Baba Amando. We also have Ebenezer Aquah in defence. None of them can be compared to the players I have mentioned.
“You can’t mention top five stars in the league without three Samartex players. We are with the stars. We have the stars. The coaches will determine whether we will sign new players or not. We have the stars. We have assembled the best. We believe and trust them.
“I know that they can emulate this perform in Africa. They are ready and poised for action and for Africa as well.” Abronomaa told Mothers 102.7FM.
The Timber giants are on the cusps of securing a historic Premier League crown, as they lead second-placed Nations by seven points with five matches to end the season.
