“Today you are good, tomorrow you are bad” – Aboubakar Ouattara takes a swipe at ‘inconsistent’ Hearts of Oak players after Aduana loss
Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara, has expressed his deep disappointment in his players following their 1-0 defeat to Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Kelvin Obeng’s decisive goal in the 11th minute secured Aduana Stars’ victory in week 30 of the Ghana Premier League, leaving the Phobians without a single shot on goal throughout the match.
In a post-match interview with StarTimes, Ouattara did not hold back his frustration:
“We played badly today, there was no motivation and I don’t understand what happened. Very disastrous, very disappointed completely. The key players will come out for nothing. All the plans are down, very difficult but these boys I don’t understand them. Today you are good, tomorrow you are bad, I don’t understand what happened but today is a very bad game. We had a very bad game, we played 90 minutes without any shot on the goalkeeper, not even one. I am not happy, seriously.”
The defeat leaves Hearts of Oak in 12th place, just five points above the relegation zone. The Phobians will travel to Kumasi next to face Asante Kotoko in their matchweek 31 fixture.
