Former Asante Kotoko forward, Georges Mfegue Omgba has refused to rule out a move to Hearts of Oak following his departure from the Porcupine Warriors.
Mfegue was part of the 18 players released by the club ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Looking at the Cameroonian’s exploits with Kotoko, the possibility of moving to another heavyweight club is high, and he isn’t ruling out a move to the Phobians either.
Asked whether he has been contacted by the Phobians, the 27-year-old said; “No, no, no, no one has contacted me from Hearts of Oak. I’ve been receiving calls from people asking me this same question if I am joining Hearts but it’s not true,” he told Ghanasportspage in an interview.
“You know, in football you don’t know how things will go so I cannot say yes or no for now but my doors are open”
Having joined Kotoko from Avion FC in October 2021, Mfegue played a crucial role in securing the team’s 25th GPL title, contributing eight goals and four assists in his first season, followed by three goals in his second season and an assist in his third season.
Georges Mfegue featured in 64 games for the Porcupines in all competitions during his three-year spell.
