Accra Hearts of Oak have agreed a fee with Nations FC for the transfer of prolific striker, Asamoah Boateng Afriyie, in a move that will bolster their attack ahead of the new season.
The Phobians have been busy strengthening their squad, and this latest development marks a significant coup for the club as they look to make a strong push for the top honors in the Ghana Premier League.
According to Oyerepa journalist and local transfer guru, Obed Acheampong, the 26-year-old forward is set to undergo a medical and finalize terms before making the switch.
Boateng, who previously played for Legon Cities, impressed in the just-ended season with 11 goals and one assist in 29 league appearances.
He was also being courted by Asante Kotoko, but it appears Hearts of Oak have won the race to sign the talented striker.
