Asante Kotoko are in advanced talks with Bofoakwa Tano to sign talented defender Emmanuel Ankrah as they seek to revamp their squad after a disappointing 2023/24 season.
The Porcupines have been busy in the transfer market, releasing 21 first-team players, and have now set their sights on the 19-year-old centre-back, who has two years remaining on his contract.
Ankrah was a standout performer for Bofoakwa Tano during the just-ended season, making 29 appearances in the Premier League, despite the team’s relegation.
His impressive form has caught the attention of several clubs, including giants Asante Kotoko, who are eager to secure his services in the coming days.
