Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has officially announced the signing of Emmanuel Antwi on a free transfer until 2027.
The 24-year-old midfielder has committed to a three-year contract with the Porcupines, following a successful medical examination in Kumasi.
Antwi, who has excelled in his last two seasons with Great Olympics, made 26 appearances in the last league campaign, contributing six goals and five assists.
The move is part of Asante Kotoko’s rebuilding efforts after a disappointing season that saw them finish in sixth place without any silverware.
The signing of Antwi is expected to bolster the team’s midfield options and set them up for a stronger showing in the upcoming season.
The former Black Starlets midfielder will now join his new teammates at the Adako Jachie training complex tomorrow to begin training ahead of the upcoming Democracy Cup game against Hearts of Oak.
