The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced that the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League will commence on September 6.
The new season is set to get underway exactly 82 days after the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
In preparation for the upcoming season, the GFA has also set important deadlines for clubs. Clubs in the Women’s Premier League and the Division One League (DOL) must submit their strips by August 15, and squad lists by August 17.
Reigning champions Samartex will look to defend their title against 17 other clubs in the league, including newly promoted teams Young Apostles, Basake Holy Stars, and Vision FC.
These teams will replace Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano, and Real Tamale United, who were relegated from the top flight last season.
