Asante Kotoko have finalized the signing of Great Olympics forward Albert Amoah in the ongoing transfer window, pending a medical examination.
The Porcupine Warriors are actively seeking quality players to bolster their squad ahead of the 2024/25 season. Following a challenging previous season, Kotoko is determined to make a significant impact in the upcoming campaign. The club turned their attention to Albert Amoah after a proposed move for Prince Kwabena Owusu fell through.
According to sources from Ghanasportspage.com, Kotoko and Great Olympics have agreed on a transfer fee for Amoah. With personal terms already settled, the forward will undergo a mandatory medical examination in the coming days before officially signing.
The highly-rated attacker is expected to sign a three-year deal that will keep him at Kotoko until 2027. Amoah was a standout performer for Great Olympics in the recently concluded season, despite the team’s relegation to the lower division.
He scored five goals in 16 games during the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.
