Right to Dream Academy, youth development trainer Jeff Tiero Eduku has led the western regional team to win the 4th Edition of National under 17 Regional tournament.
Western Region coach Tiero put an incredible performance in the talent identification Championship with a 2-1 win against the Eastern Region.
This is the side’s first ever title in the famous Championship, which started four years ago with funding from the KGL Foundation.
Eastern Region midfielder Seth Kwame Alex was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) after he put up a decent shift at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
After the game, the young and energetic coach, Jeff Tiero Eduku, expressed his feelings and excitement for lifting the trophy.
“I’m happy that Western regional football executives invited me to lead the team for the tournament.
“I’m very proud of their support to lift up the trophy. Now I’m still a coach at Right to Dream Academy, and I’m not ready to leave there because since i joined them, i have learned a lot to relish my coaching career.
“But at the right time, if any Premier League club needs my service, maybe I can consider it in the future. Not now, but maybe later. He told Ghanasportspage.com

The 2024 edition of the Championship has highlighted several talented players who will be groomed for the various national youth teams.
The KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship, launched in 2021, has been an avenue for talent discovery for clubs, particularly Premier and Division One League clubs, with several players being beneficiaries of the esteemed competition.
The Championship is aimed at identifying, training, and developing young talents for the national youth teams.
