Defender Dennis Nkrumah Korsah has responded to recent reports suggesting that he has parted ways with Hearts of Oak, clarifying that no official communication has been made to him by the club.
Korsah, the former captain of Ebusua Dwarfs, was notably absent from Hearts of Oak’s match against Heart of Lions in the 2024 Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Peace Cup.
Following the game, in which the Phobians secured victory via a penalty shootout, head coach Aboubakar Ouattara revealed that Korsah would not be part of the team for the upcoming season.
“Michael Ampadu is injured, which is why he didn’t play, but for Korsah, he is not with us anymore,” Ouattara stated.
However, Dennis Korsah has refuted these claims, stating that he has not received any formal notification from the club regarding his status.
“Officially, no one has told me anything. The reports that say they have parted ways with me are not true. If they want to part ways with me, they should do it the rightful way,” Korsah emphasized to ghanasportspage.com
As of now, the situation remains unclear, with the player awaiting an official response from Hearts of Oak regarding his future with the club.
