Former Asante Kotoko forward Dickson Afoakwa has signed a two-year deal with Accra-based Division One side Rainmasters FC, aiming to revive his career after a period of inactivity.
The 26-year-old has been without a club since parting ways with Kotoko at the start of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Afoakwa was instrumental in helping the Porcupine Warriors clinch the Ghana Premier League title during the 2021/22 season, making 25 league appearances over two seasons.
RainMasters FC, formerly known as Accra Athletic FC, will kick off their 2024/25 Access Bank Division One League campaign with a match against debutant side True Democracy on matchday one.
The club is counting on Afoakwa’s experience as they set their sights on securing promotion to the top flight next season.
