Ghanaian international André Ayew has returned to Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC after being a free agent following the end of his previous contract.
The 34-year-old initially joined the club midway through last season on a short-term basis, contributing five goals in 19 appearances to help secure their top-flight status.
However, his prior success wasn’t sufficient to secure a contract extension at the time.
Since his departure, Le Havre has faced difficulties in scoring, netting only seven goals in the league—one of the lowest tallies.
In light of this, the club has decided to bring back Ayew, fulfilling his wish to stay. He has signed a deal that runs until the end of the current season.
