A group known as friends of Kwesi Appiah have arrived in Accra to cheer the Sudanese National team to victory in their 2025 Africa Cup of nations qualifier to victory.
The group, number over 1000 is made of Football enthusiast drawn from all over Ghana with majority of them coming from Kumasi, they arrived in the early hours of Thursday and are headed to the Accra Sports Stadium for the game later in the evening.
Having been sponsored by a wealthy business, the supporters claim they have come to the National capital to support one of their know, a man they describe as the rejected son of Ghana.
The group indicates they will make their presence known to the rest of the supporters by chanting and singing in support of the Sudanese team, the group also indicated they have learnt some Sudanese songs that they will be singing on the night of the game.
