Asante Kotoko has been dealt a significant setback as midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu will miss the upcoming match against Basake Holy Stars on Sunday due to accumulated yellow cards.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to Aiyinase to take on the league newcomers at CAM Park for the Week 8 Ghana Premier League clash. Manu’s absence is a considerable blow, as the midfielder has been an instrumental part of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum’s setup this season.
Ntim Manu, who previously played for Legon Cities, received yellow cards in matches against Karela United, Young Apostles, and in their recent home win against FC Samartex, leading to his suspension for Sunday’s match.
Asante Kotoko, currently second on the league table with 14 points from six games, remain unbeaten this season. They will look to continue their strong start and add another three points despite the loss of a key player.
