Aduana FC head coach, Yaw Acheampong, has highlighted the key factors his team needs to focus on to secure a victory against Asante Kotoko in their Week 12 Ghana Premier League clash.
The former Ghana international stressed the importance of character in his players, acknowledging the challenge that lies ahead against the record 24-time Ghanaian champions. The match will take place on Sunday at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park, with Aduana FC looking to build on last season’s success over Kotoko.
“Playing against Kotoko, you need players with character because it won’t be an easy game,” Acheampong said during his pre-match press conference. “We have to play with character.
“This is not a game for jokes. We all know the task ahead, and the result is crucial. We’re doing our best to motivate the boys and remind them that last season we were able to beat them here. This season, we have to do it again.
Ahead of the game, Aduana FC sits eighth on the league table with 11 points, while Asante Kotoko are in sixth place with 15 points.
