Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah has garnered significant attention from several clubs following his standout performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Since joining the Porcupine Warriors from the Great Olympics in the summer transfer window, Amoah has quickly established himself as a key player for the team. The 22-year-old has netted six goals so far, making him Kotoko’s main attacking threat as they push for the league title.
Reports indicate that foreign clubs eager to secure Amoah’s services have tabled multiple offers. However, Kotoko are reportedly unwilling to part with their star forward until the season concludes, as they remain focused on their title ambitions.
Amoah signed a three-year contract with Kotoko in 2023, tying him to the club until the summer of 2027. His contributions have been pivotal in the team’s efforts to climb the league table. They currently sit in seventh place with 18 points, five behind leaders Bibiani Goldstars after 12 matches.
In addition to fending off interest in Amoah, Kotoko is actively looking to strengthen its squad during the second transfer window. They aim to close the gap at the top and reignite their championship hopes.
