Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has announced his 20-man squad for Friday night’s crucial Ghana Premier League match against Bibiani Gold Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors will be looking to extend their winning run after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Dreams FC, and they will face a Gold Stars side in strong form. Kotoko aims to maintain momentum and secure three points from the highly anticipated encounter.
Coach Ogum confirmed that the squad is fully fit, with no new injury concerns. However, Kotoko will be without the services of Black Galaxies duo Emmanuel Antwi and Albert Amoah, who have rejoined the national team for the upcoming CHAN Qualifiers playoff against Nigeria on Saturday.
The squad is strengthened by the return of key defender Patrick Asiedu, who missed the Dreams FC trip due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Key players such as Justice Blay, Samuel Tenadu, and Joseph Ablorh are also expected to play pivotal roles in the match.
Newly signed striker Kwame Opoku, who completed his registration recently, is included in the squad for the first time and could make his debut for the club.
