Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Francis Jojo Bossman has singled out Salim Adams as a standout talent in the current Hearts of Oak squad, likening his abilities to that of himself and former club legend Joe Ansah.
In an interview with Ghana Sports Page, Bossman admitted that he has not followed the club’s performances closely but was particularly impressed by the young midfielder.
“I’ve not really watched them, but there is one player that I’ve seen who is very talented, like myself and Joe Ansah. He is the only player that I’ve noticed since I came here (in 2021). He is called Salim Adams. If he is serious and focused, he will reach his potential,” Bossman told Ghanasportspage.com.
Salim Adams, a promising midfielder, has been a key figure for Hearts of Oak, showcasing his skill and vision in the Ghana Premier League.
The former Ghana-U20 player joined Hearts of Oak on loan from New Edubiase in 2022 before departing to MLS side Cincinnati a year later. After a season-long loan, he returned to the Phobians in 2024.
He has been a key under head coach Aboubakar Ouattara as the club quest to claim the League title for the first time since 2021. Hearts of Oak currently sit 5th on the table with 30 points, trailing league leaders and arch-rivals Asante Kotoko by four points.
