The Ghana Premier League is set for round two of exciting action on matchday 24 after a brief halt in February as the Ghana Football Association set the date for outstanding matchday 20 fixtures.
The weekend kicks off with FC Samartex hosting Asante Kotoko at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in what promises to be a thrilling encounter at 3:00 PM. Young Apostles face Accra Lions at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park.
A major clash will take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, where Hearts of Oak will take on Dreams FC at 6:00 PM. Both teams will be eager to secure maximum points as they push towards the top of the league table.
Sunday’s action will see Bechem United lock horns with Vision FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, while Basake Holy Stars welcome Nsoatreman FC at the Aiyinase CAM Park.
Elsewhere, Heart of Lions will battle Karela United, with Nations FC set to take on Medeama SC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Another major fixture will see Legon Cities hosting Berekum Chelsea, while Aduana Stars square off against Goldstars FC in a crucial match at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium.
Meanwhile, some outstanding matchday 20 matches, which were postponed after Pooley’s death, have been slated for Wednesday, March 13. Some vital matches on the lineup include FC Samartex vs Medeama SC and Bechem United vs Hearts of Oak.
Asnate Kotoko will not be as they will face Eleven Wise in the round 16 of the FA Cup.
