Cudjoe Alexander, the agent of Asante Kotoko defender Samba O’Neil, has addressed speculation regarding his client’s future at the club.
Speaking to GhanaSportsPage.com Alexander emphasized that the player’s priority is loyalty and comfort rather than financial gain.
“We play for loyalty and not money. You know it is better to build a relationship, and where we are comfortable, we are okay,” Alexander told Ghanasportspage.com
Alexander assured that staying at Kotoko remains a strong possibility for his client.
“Some people play in some places with large sums of money, but they are not comfortable. If Kotoko feels like they want to keep Samba, we will sit and talk. We have found a home and found a family in Kotoko,” he added.
Since joining the Porcupine Warriors, Samba O’Neil has established himself as a key figure in the club’s defence, earning the admiration of fans and management alike.
The Congolese defender Gilbani O’Neil Ndongani Samba joined the Porcupines in 2024 a two-year deal.
