Reports gathered by Ghanasportspage.com indicate that Coach Abdul Karim Zito will continue as head coach for Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko Sporting Club in the 2025/26 season. The decision was made following an IMC meeting held by the clubs IMC.
The former Black Satellites head coach replaced Prosper Narteh Ogum on an interim basis until the end of the season.
Since his appointment, Kotoko has yet to record a defeat, having recorded 3 wins and 2 draws in all competitions. Zito has successfully guided the side to the final of the MTN FA Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors also remain in contention to win the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
With two games to wrap up the season, they rank third with 55 points – 5 points off the summit.
