Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of highly-rated center back Zackaria Fuseini from Berekum Chelsea after the player successfully passed his medical examination earlier this week.
The transfer, which had been in the pipeline for some time, has now been finalized with all necessary documents exchanged between the two clubs.
Fuseini has signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors, committing his future to the club until 2028.
This marks another key addition to Kotoko’s rebuilding project ahead of the upcoming season, as the club looks to bolster its defensive ranks.
Fuseini, who was one of Berekum Chelsea’s standout performers last season, brings physicality, composure, and aerial dominance to the backline.
His move follows that of teammate Hubert Gyau, who also recently joined Kotoko on a four-year deal.
