Accra Hearts of Oak have fully settled their financial obligation to former player Francis Adjetey, complying with a directive from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

The club paid an amount of GH₵116,279.18 to Adjetey, fulfilling the conditions imposed by CAS after a protracted dispute between the player and the club.
The payment brings closure to the legal tussle and clears Hearts of Oak of any potential sanctions that could have arisen from non-compliance.
The club’s swift action to resolve the matter reaffirms its commitment to adhering to legal and contractual obligations.
Following the settlement, the transfer band placed on the club has been lifted. However, they could face another sanction if they fail to settle debt owe their former technical director, Rene Hiddink.
