Asante Kotoko probable XI to face Kaizer Chiefs in Toyota Cup

Asante Kotoko are expected to field a strong lineup when they take on South African giants Kaizer Chiefs in the Toyota Cup, as part of their pre-season tour in South Africa.

Head coach Karim Zito is likely to hand opportunities to several new faces in the friendly as he look to assess them.  

Despite looking to give minutes to as many players as possible, Zito will have the trophy in sight and could present reliable starting eleven. 

Kwame Poku looks to lead the attack and make a statement ahead of the upcoming season.

The Toyota Cup offers a vital test for the Porcupine Warriors as they continue to build under coach Karim Zito, while chasing his third trophy since his appointment. 

The game will also test Kotoko’s readiness for the CAF Confederation Cup campaign. 

The game is set for 13:00 GMT kickoff time at the Moses Mabhida stadium.
