Former Nsoatreman SC winger Walid Neymar has joined Asante Kotoko for preseason after completing a free transfer to the club, ghanasportspage understands.
Although Kotoko are yet to officially announce his signing, Walid has been spotted training with the team during their ongoing preseason.
His name was noticeably absent from the official squad list for the Porcupines’ Cape Coast training camp, but his presence suggests a deal is all but done.
The winger was initially on the verge of joining Kotoko following his departure from Nsoatreman earlier this year.
However, he opted to pursue opportunities abroad before returning to Ghana after a short stint overseas.
Kotoko arrived in Cape Coast on Sunday, August 10, to begin the second phase of their preseason preparations ahead of a demanding 2025/26 campaign that will see them compete in both the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
