Bibiani GoldStars have been crowned champions of the 2025 GHALCA Top 4 tournament despite Hearts of Oak’s 2-0 victory over arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the final round of matches.
Hearts delivered a dominant performance to see off Kotoko, but it was not enough to secure the trophy as GoldStars edged the standings on head-to-head advantage, capping an impressive preseason run.
The Top 4 tournament, which brought together last season’s top Ghana Premier League finishers, provided a vital platform for all four clubs to fine-tune their squads ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
For Kotoko, the defeat capped a disappointing outing with three straight losses, while Hearts will take positives from their strong finish despite missing out on the title.
GoldStars, meanwhile, will carry momentum into the new season as they prepare for a big campaign ahead.
