The Black Stars have returned to Ghana following their 1-1 draw with Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.
Ghana took the lead in the 17th minute through Jordan Ayew at the Marshal Idriss Déby Itno Olympic Stadium in N’Djamena, but conceded a late equalizer in the 90th minute, leaving them with just a point from the fixture.
Otto Addo’s side will now regroup and turn their attention to the crucial clash against Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025.
They will host a recovery session on Friday as they begin preparations for the vital clash with Mali.
The Black Stars currently top Group I with 16 points after seven matchdays — three points ahead of second-placed Madagascar and four clear of Mali, who sit third.
