Asante Kotoko has departed Ghana this morning for Nigeria ahead of the decisive reverse fixture against Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors travel with a 20-man squad as they prepare for Sunday’s showdown at the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abeokuta.
Kotoko head into the fixture with a slender 4-3 advantage from the thrilling first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, and will be hoping to complete the job away from home.
Goalkeepers Aziz Haruna Dari and Mohammed Gamara are among the traveling party.
The defensive line includes Joseph Amoah, Patrick Asiedu, Musa Hamzata, Zackaria Fuseini, Samba O’Neil, Ansu Henry, Joseph Ablorh, and Lord Amoah.
In midfield, Abdul Karim Zito has called up Seth Kwadwo, Lord Hillary Adabo, Gyau Hubert, Emmanuel Antwi, Fuseini Walid Neymar, Amoh Philip, Listowel Hinneh, and Amidu Peter, offering both creativity and grit.
Up front, Donzo Morifing and Albert Amoah will spearhead the attack as Kotoko target vital away goals.
