The Player Status Committee (PSC) of the Ghana Football Association has handed down a 12-month ban to Supreme Babies FC and Mosbees Soccer Agency FC from all football-related activities. The ban, which takes immediate effect, will expire on October 6, 2026.

The ban is in accordance with Article 21.1 of the GFA Disciplinary Code (2019), which states that:

“Anyone who, in football-related activities, forges a document, falsifies an authentic document or uses a forged or falsified document will be sanctioned with a fine and a ban of at least six months or for a specified period of no less than 12 months.”

This decision was taken in view of the fraudulent registration of player Anthony Aboagye, who filed a complaint at the PSC over his unlawful registration by Mosbees Soccer Agency FC without his knowledge and with incorrect details.

According to the petitioner, in 2016, he joined JMG Academy and later moved to their Mali branch in September of the same year. He added that after returning to Ghana in 2024, he tried to join Rumark FC, where it was discovered that he had been registered by Mosbees Soccer Agency FC.

Player Anthony Aboagye petitioned the PSC to investigate this case and rectify his registration accordingly. At the PSC hearing, Mosbees Soccer Agency pleaded for clemency after admitting to falsifying the player’s registration documents without his knowledge.

It was also found that the owner of Mosbees Soccer Agency FC, Mr. Paul Kingsford Abeokuta Ephraim, was also the owner of Supreme Babies FC, which had initially registered the player before the subsequent registration with Mosbees Soccer Agency FC.

In view of the evidence before it, the PSC found no complicity on the part of the player in the grand scheme of the fraudulent registration and therefore recommended that all records of the petitioner’s registration be expunged from the system. The PSC further stated that the player can register for any club of his choice with his correct details.
