The Black Stars of Ghana booked their qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night, following a narrow 1-0 victory over Comoros.
The matchday 10 encounter of the qualifiers, was played at the Accra Sports Stadium with Ghana picking up a deserving victory over their counterpart to ensure they achieved another milestone at the Mundial.
It was Mohammed Kudus second half close range tap in getting Ghana to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The triumph propelled Ghana to the top of Group I with 25 points having drawn once through out the qualifiers.
This success, saw President of Ghana His Excellency John Dramani Mahama taking to his official Facebook page congratulating the Stars.

Ghana’s qualification to the Mundial, marks their fifth appearance after missing out in Russia 2018 tournament. Meanwhile, the 2010 FIFA World Cup quarterfinalist have yet to know their stay, with three nations hosting next year’s World Cup thus USA, Mexico and Canada.
