Hearts of Oak Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo despite all odds going in favour of Asante Kotoko SC believe his outfit will shock many by making a strong statement this Sunday.
In recent meetings between the two most successful clubs in Ghana football, Asante Kotoko SC have exhibited pure dominance having won three and drawn just one in four meetings. They aim at striking for me but the Continental club Masters, have set sight on stopping their bitter rivals.
Opare Addo insists it’s time to make a strong statement to all football fans though the encounter will not be an easy walk over but optimistic the club’s birth month(November) will inspire the Oak.
“This Super Clash in Accra won’t be easy for Asante Kotoko. Accra Hearts of Oak is ready to make a strong statement at home”, he told Accra-based Asempa FM.
“November, being the birth month of Accra Hearts of Oak, will have great significance in the upcoming Super Clash”.
The first leg of 2025/26 Super clash is scheduled for Sunday November 9, 2025 at the nations Wembley- Accra Sports Stadium exactly 4:00 pm.
Currently, Hearts of Oak SC sit 4th on the league log with 16 points while Asante Kotoko SC are placed 8th with 11 points from 5 league matches.
