Asante Kotoko head coach, Abdul Karim Zito has announced his match-day squad ahead of this afternoon’s Super-Clash against rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League matchday nine [9] encounter.

Karim Zito’s side beat Karela United 4-2 in their last premier league game, hoping to continue this afternoon against Hearts of Oak.

He knows another victory in this fixture will be very malleable and get him the full backing of the supporters and also enhance the club’s league winning hopes hence will throw in all his arsenal’s in search for the precious three points 

Karim Zito has named a strong squad that comprised of both Dari Aziz Haruna and Mohammed Camara, as usual. Lord Amoah, Samba O’Neil, Hubert Gyau are all part of Zito’s traveling squad.

Asante Kotoko travel to the capital brimming with confidence after an emphatic 4-2 victory over Karela United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last weekend, a result that reignited their campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors, currently 8th on the table with 11 points, have played fewer matches than any other team due to three outstanding fixtures, which could significantly alter their position in the coming weeks.

Head coach Abdul Karim Zito has instilled tactical discipline and defensive solidity, with Kotoko boasting the best defensive record in the league, having conceded just two goals all season.

They have also kept four clean sheets in their last five games, a testament to their organization and resilience.Kotoko’s away form adds to their confidence, as they remain unbeaten on the road this season (W1, D1), without conceding a single goal.

Their recent record at the Accra Sports Stadium is equally impressive, remaining unbeaten in their last two visits (W1, D1).
