The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has expressed profound sorrow following the tragic deaths of two supporters of Aduana FC who were involved in a fatal road accident on their way back to Dormaa from Kumasi on Sunday evening.
The supporters were returning home after travelling to cheer their club in their Ghana Premier League clash against Asante Kotoko SC when the accident occurred.
The incident has cast a shadow over the football community, leaving fans and stakeholders deeply saddened.
In a statement, the GFA extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, as well as to the leadership, players, and supporters of Aduana FC.
The Association affirmed its solidarity with the club during this difficult moment, emphasizing that the entire football fraternity shares in their grief.
“The GFA shares in your pain during this difficult moment, and we stand in solidarity with the entire Aduana FC family,” the statement said.
The Association also revealed that it has been in close contact with the club’s leadership to ensure proper support for the two surviving victims, who are currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The club announced the tragic passing of the two supporters in an earlier statement on Monday, November 17, 2025.
