Black Stars coach Otto Addo has admitted that Ghana needs to improve ahead of the World Cup after falling to impress at the 2025 Kirin Cup in Japan.
Ghana engaged in a three nation tournament which had Japan and South Korea compete for the Kirin Challenge Cup in Nagoya-shi. The West Africa country lost all two matches, conceding 3 goals without scoring.
Suffered a 2-0 defeat to Japan then on Tuesday got humbled by South Korea 1-0.
Otto Addo putting this record in his books and statistics, acknowledged the facts and want his side to improve before the World Cup.
“For the World Cup there are still some months to go for us to improve, Surely also in all aspects, in pressing and creating chances but also not allowing chances”, he told Sporty FM.
“There is still room to improve especially Ghana”.
Ghana marks their fifth appearance at the FIFA World Cup having missed out in Russia 2018.
