Medeama SC gaffer Ibrahim Tanko has indicated that his side are in high morale and confidence heading into weekend fixture against Asante Kotoko SC after humiliating Rospak SC 4-1.
The Mauves and Yellow outfit clashed with Rospak SC in the MTN FA Cup round 64, were they humbled them to advance. Following that, Ibrahim Tanko praised his lads for the triumph, stressing that it will boost his team’s confidence going into their Ghana Premier League clash against Asante Kotoko this weekend.
Tanko said this at post-match, disclosing that Medeama SC will prepare extensively for the big game aiming at securing a positive result.
“We started very well, we had a very early goal and that made it easy for us. After the first goal, we kept pushing, and we had four goals at halftime. In all, I think we deserved to win.
“If you score four goals in a game before a game against Asante Kotoko, it definitely gives confidence. We are going to prepare for that game,” Ibrahim Tanko told Medi TV.
The crunchy Premier league week 12 fixture between giants Asante Kotoko SC and Medeama SC will be played on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
It is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
