Ghanaian international Daniel Kofi Kyereh has finally returned to the pitch after more than two years on the sidelines due to injury.
The attacking midfielder following the torn of his Angle Crucial Ligament (ACL), was sidelined for several months but not back. He suffered the injury in 2023 but now back.
Kyereh, early this week rejoined the first team of Freiburg S.C and now set to make his long awaited return in his first competitive match.
His comeback comes at a crucial time, just a few months before the World Cup, where his experience and presence on field could be vital for the Ghana national men’s team.
The 29-year old joined Freiburg S.C in 2022 from St. Pauli on a free transfer.
