Ghanaian striker Albert Amoah insist Asante Kotoko SC is in a good position to clinch the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league despite Medeama SC widening the points gap.
Asante Kotoko SC after week 19 of the campaign, sit 4th on the league standings with 32 points, however has sight set on the Premiership. Medeama SC have cemented their spot, top of the summit with 8 points better off Kotoko.
Nonetheless, their returnee striker Albert Amoah believe winning the league is not far from reach. Strongly asserting that, there are more games to play that can see the Porcupine Warriors turn the positioning on the log.
“If you look at the league table, there are still many games to be played, so it’s not over for Asante Kotoko.”
“There is nothing to give up, we’re going to work hard and make it to the top as our supporters wants us to do so and am happy to be here to work together as a team”.
The forward rejoined the Porcupine Warriors in the January transfer window on a loan deal from Libyan outfit Al Ahly Benghazi.
Kotoko last won the league title in 2021/22 season and are eager to clinch the ongoing campaign for their participation in next season CAF Champions league.
