Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, will play an international friendly against Austria on March 27, 2026, as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This will be Black Stars second game in the March international break window after the slated friendly with Germany.
The friendly encounter forms part of Ghana’s build-up towards the global showpiece, with head coach Otto Addo expected to use the match to assess his squad and fine-tune tactics ahead of the tournament.
The game will provide the Black Stars with an opportunity to test themselves against European opposition, as well as give chances to fringe players to stake a claim for inclusion in the final World Cup squad.
Further details regarding the venue and kickoff time are expected to be announced in due course.
Ghana will be aiming to use the March international window effectively as preparations intensify for the World Cup.
